A final word from Dubai…
Hey guys, how are you all? I hope you guys hadn’t stayed up too late to compete in the world Maths day competition during the 48 hours period. First of all, the best congratulations to all participants for trying hard and I think, a lot of certificates are being given away for accomplishing 4000 points. Also I would say the greatest congratulations to all winners from each age group. I’m very impressed with all your scores. How could you guys calculate while typing the answers so fast??
And don’t worry, I didn’t forget to congratulate all the ambassadors from all the different countries as well, because we all contributed in helping advertising this event so that it had made it into the Guinness World Records!!
Although I felt that the questions in this year’s world maths day were a little harder than the previous year’s, I felt that it made it an even more challenge instead of playing only easy maths that we already know how to do. So it actually improved people’s math skills even more while playing games.
I’m very happy that the number of correct answers achieved in this year’s world maths day has beaten the number of correct answers from last year. This proves that the world has been united in numbers. And I hope the event will be even bigger next year, because this year’s number has set the bar so high, for the event in 2011.
Well, I hope to see you all next year! While setting even higher high scores
Felicia J.
